The Cottages |
Introducing the concept of "Upscale Camping"! The cottages at Virgin Island Campground reinvent the idea of a Caribbean vacation. Our wood-frame and canvas cabins provide the perfect combination of closeness to nature and the comforts of home.
Each cabin is privately nestled in lush green foliage, and is richly appointed with electrical outlets, comfortable beds and linens, a table and chairs inside, lounge chairs and a cooler on your private, ocean-view terrace outside, towels for showering and washing up, beach towels, a bin for your groceries, and all the cooking utensils, cutlery and dishware you need to prepare a home-cooked meal up at the Pavilion.
The cabins sleep 3 adults, or 2 adults and
2 children.
Designed by the owners, these cabins are also a marvel of low-imact, eco-friendly design, drawing electricity from the wind. Each cabin is supplied with a 110 outlet so you can charge your camera, cell phone, laptop, or whatever.
So if your Caribbean dream is to find a private, clean bungalow where you can fall asleep to the gentle trade winds and the sound of the surf on a nearby beach, then this is your place. Your dream will come true right here! |

The Pavilion |
The Pavilion is our common area, where you can prepare a healthy meal on our modern grill, sit and chat with your fellow campers, or enjoy an early morning coffee while you watch the sun rise over the Caribbean Sea.
The Pavilion is outfitted with a brand new 24v, eco-friendly refrigerator (the freezer is located in the adjacent Communications Room) where you can store all your food and cold beverages, a stylish, modern gas grill with all the cooking utensils handy, and a big, weathered picnic table, where you can sit and share a meal with your friends, or have a late night glass of wine as you watch the cruise ships sail off towards the evening horizon. |

The Bathhouse |
Conveniently located only steps from your cottage you will find the Bathhouse, with modern, clean facilities for washing and showering.
Our guests are pleased to know that all the water for the sinks and showers on the campground is captured rainwater, and are heated by solar energy, giving us a very low environmental footprint.
